Coleridge Memorial Project The Coleridge memorial Project Group (CMPG) was set up in November 2009 to secure funds for a memorial in Ottery St Mary to the poet and philosopher Samuel Taylor Coleridge who was born in Ottery St Mary on 21st October 1772. A public consultation exercise has now been completed (on March 14th 2010) and the results are now published (see link below). If you have any comments about Coleridge or the memorial we are hoping to establish for him here in Ottery, please use the comment form below. Thank you. You can now become a member the CMP by filling in the form here, and posting it with your subscription (details on the form). This is the best way to keep up with the progress of campaign.
FundingFunding proposals will be published later on in the project, when we have a clear focus on the type of memorial and the costs involved. Please bookmark this page to keep up with our progress. More about Samuel Taylor Coleridge
